F-12-124 PointCare Visit Alert
🎯 Purpose:
A PointCare Visit Alert coordination note is a note created in the client’s medical record that triggers a visit alert in PointCare when starting a visit. It is required to be reviewed by all users within the Client Snapshot. It should be used to convey any important issues regarding to the client/client’s care to all field staff.
PointCare Visit Alerts can be added in the back office or by a field user in PointCare. Examples include scheduling preferences, transmission-based precautions, client/caregiver communication preferences, gate code, safety preferences, etc.
They will remain in the client’s chart and trigger visit alerts until inactivated in the back office. Clinicians should communicate to Clinical Supervisor if Visit Alert is no longer needed. PointCare Visit Alerts are not designed to become part of the medical record.

- Clients with PointCare Visit Alerts will have an exclamation mark visible in the Rolling Calendar:

- All users will be prompted to review the PointCare Visit Alert within the Client Snapshot. User will not be able to exit out of the Client Snapshot until the visit alert has been reviewed:

- Review Visit Alert:

- Visit Alerts will remain in the record until inactivated in the back office.
