🎯 Purpose
This tipsheet identifies the select Time Away from Work (TAFW) reasons which salaried employees may use when submitting a TAFW request, giving a description of each reason to assist in this selection being made appropriately.
| REASON | DESCRIPTION |

| Bereavement | Choose this reason for TAFW qualifying for paid bereavement leave |
| Honor Hours Payout | Use this reason to request a payout of accrued Honor Hours |
| Honor Hours Time Off | Use this reason to request paid TAFW using Honor Hours accruals |
| Jury Duty | Use this reason if requesting TAFW due to serving on jury duty |
| Paid Leave Time Payout | Use this reason to request a payout of Paid Leave Time accruals |
| Paid Leave Time Off | Use this reason to request paid TAFW using Paid Leave Time accruals |
| Unpaid Leave | Choose this reason if requesting TAFW when no paid accruals are remaining |
